Field Application Engineer

About the Role

FTD Infocom Pvt Ltd is seeking a full-time, on-site Field Application Engineer based in Bengaluru.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to customers.
• Understand customer application requirements.
• Select suitable solutions.
• Demonstrate products and toolchains.
• Collaborate with the sales team to prepare technical proposals.
• Perform product evaluations.
• Conduct presentations and trainings for client engineering teams.
• Troubleshoot technical issues.
• Support design-in activities.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers.
• Document application notes, feedback, and best practices.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Field Applications and Technical Support skills.
• Sales and customer-facing skills.
• Analog and Electronics knowledge.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work on-site with customers, manage multiple projects, and travel as required.
• Experience with embedded toolchains, PCB design tools, simulation software, or multi-physics platforms is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related technical discipline.
