About the Role
BehaviorCare Therapy is seeking Paraprofessionals to provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children on the autism spectrum in their homes. This role offers flexible, part-time afternoon and evening hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Work one-on-one with a 12-year-old boy with mild autism in his home.
- Provide play-based ABA therapy to help build daily living skills, communication, independence, and confidence.
- Follow simple, step-by-step treatment plans designed by a licensed BCBA.
- Track progress during each session using an easy data system on a phone or tablet.
- Collaborate with BCBAs and fellow technicians for consistency and effectiveness.
- Provide feedback to families on session progress and celebrate achievements.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- ABA experience is a plus.
- Afternoon/evening availability (weekends are a plus).
- Reliable transportation.
- Must pass a background check.
- Access to a phone or tablet for data tracking.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in settings such as:
- SPED Para
- 1:1 Aide
- Classroom Aide
- After-school programs
- Caregiving
- Experience with autism.
Schedule & Location
- Hours: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM (flexible for 4:30 PM - 7:30 PM)
- Location: Client's home in Central Phoenix, 85016
