Field Engineer

About the Role

A highly reputable General Contractor is seeking a dedicated Field Engineer for ground-up commercial projects in the Phoenix valley. This is a full-time opportunity with a clear path for career growth within an organization that invests in its people.

• Applicants MUST be Authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship is NOT offered.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with layout, surveying, and project documentation
• Supporting quality assurance and ensuring field compliance with plans and specifications
• Maintaining accurate logs, drawings, and daily field documentation
• Coordinating with subcontractors and vendors
• Helping drive schedule adherence and field productivity
• Learning best-in-class processes with a clear path to higher project engineering and management roles

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Experience or internships in commercial construction preferred
• Comfortable working in the Field
• Ability to work in accordance with the Project Manager and Superintendent, managing projects
• Must be local to Arizona and have worked in AZ Construction
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• A desire to grow within a reputable GC known for promoting talent from within
• Good tenure; commitment, reliability, and investment in long-term career development valued
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent field experience) is a plus.
