Automation Test Engineer

About the Role

RTAC is looking for an Automation Test Engineer to improve software quality through automated testing of web and mobile applications. The role involves developing test scripts, validating application workflows, and working with development teams to identify defects and ensure reliable releases.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications.
• Perform functional, regression, and cross-browser testing using automation frameworks.
• Automate user workflows and validate application behaviour across different scenarios.
• Identify, document, and track defects in coordination with development teams.
• Execute test suites, analyse results, and investigate automation failures.
• Collaborate with developers and manual testers to improve test coverage and release quality.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Knowledge of software testing concepts, test case design, and defect management.
• Familiarity with Playwright, Selenium, or similar automation tools.
• Understanding of JavaScript, Java, or Python for writing test scripts.
• Exposure to Appium for mobile application testing is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of API testing, SQL, and Git is beneficial.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Freshers with relevant projects can apply.
