Data Science Intern

About the Role

The Data Science Intern role is a part-time remote position supporting the design and delivery of data-driven solutions for client workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning, organizing, and analyzing datasets to uncover patterns and insights relevant to AI and automation opportunities.
• Assisting in building and evaluating statistical and machine learning models.
• Preparing visualizations and reports.
• Translating data findings into practical recommendations.
• Collaborating with consultants and engineers.
• Documenting analysis steps.
• Contributing to internal tools and prototypes that streamline client operations.
• Working independently, managing priorities, and communicating progress clearly in a remote environment.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used in data science (such as Python or R) and experience with data libraries and tools.
• Working knowledge of SQL or similar tools for querying and managing structured data.

Qualifications

• Strong Analytical Skills to interpret complex datasets and support data-driven decision-making.
• Skills in Statistics for hypothesis testing, model evaluation, and quantitative analysis.
• Foundational Data Science skills, including familiarity with machine learning concepts and model development.
• Skills in Data Analytics and Data Analysis to extract insights, build dashboards, and prepare accessible reports.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work remotely in a structured, self-directed manner and collaborate effectively with distributed teams.
• Interest in AI, automation, and practical business applications of data-driven solutions.
