About the Role
CNO Financial Group is hiring an Actuarial Intern to work alongside experienced Actuaries, assisting with day-to-day actuarial work within the Life, Health, and Annuity spaces. This is a paid internship.
Key Responsibilities
- Simplifying and standardizing valuation calculations.
- Working with actuarial software packages.
- Providing clear documentation and communication of technical work.
- Improving actuarial projections for pricing and valuation.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Progress towards a bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, or related discipline.
- Status as a rising junior or rising senior (approx. graduation dates of December 2027-June 2029).
- At least one passed Actuarial exam towards SOA designation.
- Availability to work 40 hrs/week for 10-12 weeks during the summer.
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
- Candidate location in Central or Eastern US time zone is preferred OR willingness to work Central or Eastern time zone business hours.
- The CNO 2027 internship program will run May 17 through August 6, 2027.
- This position may work fully remote from any US-based location, provided they are able to work Central or Eastern Time hours.
- All work must be performed within the United States.
Qualifications
- Prior internship experience (Preferred).
- Two or more passed exams towards SOA designation (Preferred).
