About the Role
The Design Engineer will work full-time on-site at the Mumbai location, contributing to the design and development of industrial valves and fittings for Bhola Engineers Private Limited, a specialized manufacturer of industrial valves and related fittings.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and modify detailed engineering drawings, 3D models, and specifications using CAD tools.
- Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineers on product design and improvements.
- Ensure designs meet functional, safety, and quality requirements.
- Review customer and industry standards.
- Perform basic engineering calculations.
- Support prototype development.
- Provide input during testing and validation.
- Coordinate with production, quality, and procurement teams to support manufacturability, cost optimization, and continuous product enhancement.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar) for 2D drawings and 3D modeling.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, industry standards, and engineering specifications.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Design Engineering and Product Design.
- Technical expertise in Mechanical Engineering, including knowledge of industrial valves, materials, and fluid mechanics.
- Basic understanding of Electrical Engineering concepts that interface with instrumentation and control systems is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience in industrial products, process industries, or valve manufacturing is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work with cross-functional teams on-site in Mumbai.
