About ReadyBaby
ReadyBaby helps parents travel with babies without the stress. We're a brand new brand heading to our first-ever trade show, ABC EXPO, in May, in Las Vegas.
The Role
We're looking for a Social Media Marketing Intern to own our social strategy and create content that stops the scroll. You'll build ReadyBaby's presence on TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook to ensure brand consistency and reach the right audience. We value quality over quantity.
What You'll Own
- Social Media Strategy
- Build a pre-show, show, and post-show strategy across TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
- Define content pillars, posting cadence, and a clear point of view for each platform.
- Recommend content creation, avoidance, and measurement.
- Set goals for brand awareness and follower growth, and report against them.
- Eye-Catching, Scroll-Stopping Content
- Concept, shoot, edit, and publish short-form video, photos, and graphics.
- Write captions and hooks in a warm, parent-friendly voice.
- Create trade show content: teasers, countdowns, behind-the-scenes, and live coverage.
- Adapt content natively to each platform, rather than cross-posting the same asset.
What Success Looks Like
- Brand Awareness: Growth in reach, impressions, and share of voice among parents and retail buyers before the show.
- Follower Growth: Steady increase in qualified followers across all three platforms.
- Brand Cohesion: A consistent look, voice, and message across TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
- Content Quality: High engagement rate and saves/shares per post, not just post volume.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience running social strategy and creating content for a consumer brand (parenting, travel, lifestyle, or DTC a plus).
- A portfolio that shows scroll-stopping work and measurable results, such as follower growth or engagement lift.
- Fluent in TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Facebook, and in how each platform's audience and algorithm differ.
- Strong video shooting and editing skills (CapCut, Premiere, Canva, or similar).
- Excellent writer with an eye for brand voice and visual consistency.
- Self-directed, reliable, and comfortable owning outcomes with minimal oversight.
- Bonus: Event or trade show content experience; familiarity with scheduling and analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, Later, Buffer).
- Students and recent grads are welcome to apply if your portfolio shows the work.
What You'll Get
- Creative ownership and direct access to the founder/marketing lead.
- Experience in a pre-launch startup and mentorship.
- A high-visibility project with a clear finish line and measurable results to build your resume.
- Potential for an ongoing engagement after the show based on results.
- Travel and expenses covered if we ask you to attend the show.
