About the Role
- Full-time, paid summer internship in a fast-paced software engineering organization.

- Work will be performed in a hybrid environment with some on-site work.
- Anticipated Hourly Range: $22.00 - $30.00.
Key Responsibilities
- Code back-end services or front-end interfaces.
- Support development of modern and responsive UI for the web.
- Iterate rapidly with the development team.
- Integration across technologies and applications, application development, user interface development, and system testing.
- Experience with Next-Gen Coding Agents: Practical history of integrating advanced AI agents, specifically Claude Code or Google's Antigravity / Gemini agentic workflows, into your daily software engineering routine.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Programming Experience: Java, Kotlin, Python, Modern JavaScript Frameworks (e.g. Angular, Vue.js, React), JavaScript, Node, and/or CSS.
- Knowledge of databases, query processing, and SQL.
- Strong working knowledge and experience in RESTful web services.
- Experience developing software using Object Oriented Programming (OOP) paradigms.
- Experience with configuration management tools (e.g. Git, Nexus, Maven).
- Understanding of software design, best practices, and standards.
- Understanding of the agile software lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Must obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required; clearance not required on day one).
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Working towards a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science), with more than 60% of required credits completed.
- Inquisitive nature, responsiveness, and excellent attention to detail.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to learn quickly and work well independently and in a team setting.
- Must be able to work in a hybrid environment, spending an average of 2 days per week at the San Antonio, TX office. Flexibility is essential.
Preferred Requirements
- Knowledge of cloud-based technologies (AWS, Azure).
- Experience with the Linux operating system.
- A current security clearance is a plus.
