About the Role
Bestvantage Investments is looking for a creative, detail-oriented Podcast Editor to transform raw recordings into engaging, high-quality podcast videos and social media content. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of video editing, storytelling, audio quality, and digital content trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit podcast recordings into polished, engaging video and audio content.
- Create short-form clips, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn videos from long-form podcasts.
- Ensure clear audio, smooth transitions, appropriate pacing, and consistent video quality.
- Add subtitles, captions, graphics, branding elements, and background music where required.
- Collaborate with the content and marketing team to develop engaging content for digital platforms.
- Organise raw footage, manage project files, and ensure timely delivery of edited content.
- Stay updated with podcast formats, video editing trends, and social media content practices.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.
- Understanding of audio editing, colour correction, subtitles, and video formatting.
- Ability to create engaging short-form content from long-form recordings.
- Strong attention to detail, creativity, and time management skills.
- A portfolio or samples of previous editing work will be an advantage.
