Goodwill Industries of Akron is seeking an entry-level Processor / Retail Stock Associate. Key Responsibilities
- Sort donated goods and textiles, ensuring quality control standards are met.
- Inspect textiles, furniture, appliances, small household wares, novelty items, books, toys, decorations, and sporting goods to determine salability.
- Test electronic merchandise to determine safe operations.
- Sort, hang, tag, price, and prepare goods for resale.
- Prepare accurate reports as required.
- Promote the development of service participants.
- Maintain a safe work area, keeping it clean and free of hazards.
- Operate equipment with attention to safe operating procedures.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Ability to lift and move up to 30 lbs.
- Basic mathematical skills.

Work Schedule: Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service with retail or food service experience is highly desirable.
- Work experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting is helpful.
