Product Designer/Developer Intern

About the Role

Bazefield is seeking a hybrid Product Designer/Developer Intern to join the Product Management & Development team. This role offers an opportunity to learn about customers and the industry by engaging in product design, development, implementation, and support responsibilities. The internship is for candidates expected to graduate in 2028.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct user research for feature design with internal users (implementation engineers & solution architects) and external users (customers).
• Support customer deployments and software implementation projects.
• Design and coordinate feature ideas using tools like Figma or Miro.
• Coordinate feature development for user stories.
• Program and develop features into the application and document functionality.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Student with experience designing, building, and deploying personal and academic projects such as web apps, REST APIs, or mobile apps.
• Skills in User Research and UX Research with a foundation in Product Design and Design Thinking.
• Solution-oriented, with a strong desire to solve problems and learn quickly.
• Passion for improving user experience and listening to users.
• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
• Comfort working in a collaborative, hybrid environment with attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• Interest in renewable energy, data-driven products, and learning in a fast-paced, international software setting.

Technologies (knowledge of any is beneficial)

• Frontend: Typescript/Javascript/HTML/CSS (Vue)
• Product Management Tools: Github, Airtable, Figma, Miro
• Backend: C# ASP.Net / C# Windows Services / MSSQL & PostgreSQL
• Operations Technologies: Industrial protocols such as OPC, Modbus, DNP3, REST
