About the Role

Referment is working with a global investment and technology firm seeking a Corporate Development Associate in New York City. This Corporate Development team sits at the center of the firm's growth agenda, proposing, developing, and executing high-priority initiatives that expand the business. This role offers early exposure to senior decision-makers and the chance to shape the firm's direction.

The Role You'll

• Propose, research, and execute new business ideas, moving from open-ended strategic questions to concrete plans and outcomes.
• Coordinate and manage critical projects across the firm.
• Work with teams across the organization to generate and develop new products.
• Contribute to corporate strategy and regularly present recommendations to senior management.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's or graduate degree.
• An impressive record of academic or professional achievement.
• Up to three years of work experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, essential for distilling complexity into clear, actionable recommendations for senior audiences.
• Prior finance knowledge or experience is not required. Past associates have come from fields including law, engineering, basic science research, philosophy, computer science, and government.

Compensation:

• Expected annual base salary: $135,000 - $160,000.
• Compensation and benefits package includes variable compensation in the form of a year-end bonus (guaranteed in the first year of hire).
