Cross Border Tech Compliance Advisor

About the Role

The Cross Border Tech Compliance Advisor is responsible for assessing technology solutions and processes for compliance with cross-border regulations, data protection laws, and industry standards relevant to design, architecture, and construction operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor regulatory developments across jurisdictions.
• Conduct compliance risk assessments.
• Recommend policy and process updates.
• Collaborate with internal design, IT, and project teams.
• Review contracts and vendor technologies for compliance obligations.
• Prepare reports and documentation.
• Support training on compliance best practices.
• Coordinate with external advisors or regulators when necessary to ensure cross-border projects and digital tools meet legal and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of cross-border technology regulations, data privacy laws, and digital compliance frameworks.
• Experience in compliance advisory, legal, or risk management roles, preferably involving tech platforms or digital tools.
• Ability to analyze complex regulatory requirements and translate them into practical policies and procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for drafting reports, guidelines, and training materials.
• Proven collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams, including design, IT, and operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Compliance, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
• Advanced qualifications or certifications in compliance or data protection are an advantage.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple cross-border projects simultaneously.
• Comfort working on-site in New Delhi and engaging with stakeholders across different regions and time zones.
