Program Financial Analyst (Entry-Level)

About the Role

V2X is seeking a motivated Program Financial Analyst I to apply knowledge of financial terms and principles to real-world experience. This role involves assisting with a wide range of duties, including analyzing data, preparing financial reports, and learning about varied accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide program financial support to the program team.
• Support management in the preparation and administration of financial data requirements such as Annual Operating Plan, Estimate at Complete, and projects.
• Partner with Operational leadership and Program Support departments to address financials, invoicing, receivables, and contractual requirements.
• Manage the monthly close process, financial reporting, and accounting functions for supporting programs.
• Manage and review journal entries and monthly account reconciliations.
• Develop and maintain program EAC forecasts.
• Perform variance analysis reporting.
• Manage monthly invoices and provide support on contractual data requirements.
• Prepare financial statements and monitor program costs for monthly Program Management Reviews (PMRs).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Excel and related financial applications.
• Company-issued computer, printer, copy machine, and other general office equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. (One year of related experience may be substituted for one year of education if a degree is required.)
• One to three-plus years (1-3+) of Accounting/Finance experience.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in Defense/government contract accounting.
