About the Role

VTG is seeking an Associate Software Engineer with hands-on experience in design and integration using C++ and Qt to develop a Human Machine Interface and Control Functionality for submersibles and surface craft. Must be experienced with SW development in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and integration using C++ and Qt for Human Machine Interface and Control Functionality.
• Develop Linux-based Human Machine Interface and control systems.
• Develop and deliver command and control systems for submersibles and surface craft.
• Design, development, test, and integration of SW.
• Report to the Decision Support System program leads.

• Experience with SW development in an Agile environment.
• Ability to work in a multiple discipline team in support of command and controls system design and integration.
• Motivated self-starter who thrives with limited supervision.
• US Citizen with current SECRET Clearance or ability to obtain a SECRET clearance.
• Successful completion of background check.
• Firmware experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Technical degree in Computer Science, SW Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience with the design and development of control systems.
• Experience with Programable Logic Controllers.
• Estimated starting pay range: $75,000-$80,000.
