About the Role
R1 RCM India is hiring for Authorization Creation roles. This process involves coordinating with nurses to decrypt medical records and reports. The role supports US healthcare operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Interact with US health insurance companies (Insurance Customer Care/Nurses/UM Team).
- Ensure quality of notation.
- Read clinical documentation and data enter for payer requirements.
- Engage in 80%+ voice-based work (may vary by site).
- Secure relevant patient health insurance information.
- Work on websites/applications as per SOP.
- Support US operations in the EST Zone, working in shifts from 6 PM to 3 AM and 9 PM to 6 AM.
- Learn and adapt to changing process needs.
- Participate in ongoing trainings for performance and process requirements.
- Be flexible to be moved across processes assigned by the Manager.
- Work according to prescribed KPIs/Targets.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Ensure non-disclosure of any PHI.
- Work in a 24/7 environment, open to night shifts.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Qualifications
- Graduate in B. Pharma, M. Pharma, or B.Sc Lifescience from a recognized educational institute.
- Good analytical skills.
- Good communication skills (both written & verbal).
- Good healthcare knowledge.
- Knowledge of Authorization.
- Ability to interact positively with team members, peer group, and seniors.
- Freshers are eligible, with a pass-out year after 2023.
