About the Role
State Street is seeking an Accounting Associate 2 in Bangalore, India. This role is suitable for freshers with a relevant technical qualification and 0-2 years of experience, offering expertise in US GAAP and Revenue Recognition.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and post month-on-month revenue accruals using US GAAP principles.
- Manage accounts receivable, including billed and unbilled items, utilizing financial analysis tools.
- Collaborate with the Financial Planning and Analysis (FPNA) team.
- Analyze revenue adjustments and intercompany reconciliations, contributing to SOX compliance.
- Lead initiatives for process re-engineering and standardization, focusing on automation.
- Document and communicate findings related to SOX controls and audit walk-throughs.
- Engage with clients to monitor and process revenue reversals and concessions.

Technical Skills
- US GAAP: Foundational to intermediate.
- Revenue Recognition: Practical application.
- Accounts Receivable Management: Entry level.

Qualifications
- Eligible Batches: 2023, 2024, 2025, 2026.
- Qualification: Relevant technical qualification in finance or accounting.
- CGPA: Minimum 6.0.
- Internship Experience: Advantageous in finance or accounting.
