Junior Interior Designer

About the Role

The Junior Interior Designer will support the design team in developing concepts, space plans, and detailed drawings for luxury residential and commercial projects. This full-time, on-site role is based in Ahmedabad and involves assisting with design presentations, material and FF&E selections, and coordination with vendors and contractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with design presentations.
• Assist with material and FF&E selections.
• Assist with coordination with vendors and contractors.
• Prepare construction and interior drawings.
• Update design documentation.
• Participate in site visits.
• Ensure design intent is maintained throughout project execution.
• Research design trends.
• Organize sample libraries.
• Collaborate closely with senior designers.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic visualization tools.
• Skills in Interior Design and Space Planning.
• Skills in Architecture and Construction Drawings.
• Skills in FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selection and specification.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong time management.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced studio environment.
• Good communication skills.
• Willingness to learn, take feedback, and grow.
• Prior internship or junior-level experience in interior design or architecture is an advantage.
