What You Will Do
- Develop and refine system and product requirements with guidance.
- Define verification methods, test cases, test procedures, and acceptance criteria.
- Integrate hardware and software and perform hands-on testing in an avionics laboratory.
- Investigate problems that cross systems, hardware, software, firmware, and test boundaries.
- Participate in technical reviews and evaluate design alternatives and engineering tradeoffs.
What You Will Learn
- Exposure to Systems Engineering, Requirements development and decomposition, System architecture and interfaces, and Verification and validation.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Foundational engineering problem-solving and analytical skills.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Systems engineering or requirements development.
- Embedded hardware or software.
- Electronics, digital logic, or microcontrollers.
- Python, C/C++, MATLAB, or other engineering programming languages.
- Automated testing or data analysis.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or graduate degree in a qualifying discipline and actively enrolled through the completion of the co-op session.
- Must be a U.S. Person.
