Data Science Intern

About the Role

Prepisely is seeking a Data Science Intern for a remote position to gain hands-on exposure to live projects, real datasets, and practical problem-solving in a startup environment. This internship focuses on addressing actual business and product challenges using data-driven approaches.

What You’ll Do

• Work on real-world datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Assist in data cleaning, preprocessing, and exploratory data analysis.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams on data-driven projects.
• Build basic predictive models and analytics solutions.
• Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations for decision-making.
• Contribute to AI-driven learning platform features and workflows.
• Learn and work with modern data science tools, libraries, and technologies.
• Participate in brainstorming ideas for improving products using data and AI.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong interest in data science, analytics, and AI.
• Understanding of statistics, data analysis, and problem-solving concepts.
• Familiarity with Python, SQL, Excel, or similar tools.
• Basic knowledge of libraries/frameworks such as Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Scikit-learn, or similar.
• Understanding of machine learning concepts is a plus.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Self-driven and eager to work on real-world problems.
