Junior Software Engineer

About the Role

This is a full-time remote role for a Junior Software Engineer supporting India’s Future Investors digital platforms and internal tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain back-end services and APIs that power user interactions, content delivery, and participation workflows.
• Implement new features and fix bugs.
• Write clean and maintainable code.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, product, and design teams.
• Participate in code reviews.
• Improve performance and reliability.
• Contribute to documentation and technical best practices.
• Support scalable solutions that enhance the audience and participant experience.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and fundamental software engineering concepts.
• Skills in Software Development and Programming, with experience in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, C#).
• Knowledge of Back-End Web Development, including APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.
• Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and ability to apply them.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Ability to learn quickly and follow coding standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Commitment to writing reliable, testable code.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with cloud platforms, basic DevOps practices, or front-end technologies is a plus.
