About the Role
The AI Application Development Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This role involves designing, developing, and deploying AI-driven applications, including building and integrating machine learning models into production systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Iterate on features based on user feedback and performance metrics.
- Write and review code.
- Conduct experiments and performance evaluations.
- Optimize algorithms.
- Maintain documentation for developed solutions.
- Stay current with advances in AI technologies.
- Contribute to research and development initiatives that enhance product capabilities.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong foundation in Software Development and Programming.
- Experience in building and maintaining production-grade applications.
- Experience in Research and Development (R&D), including experimentation, prototyping, and data-driven evaluation of AI solutions.
- Proficiency in AI/ML frameworks and tools such as Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn.
- Familiarity with data processing pipelines.
- Experience with cloud platforms, APIs, and version control systems (e.g., Git) is beneficial.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Polymers and Materials Science, with the ability to apply AI methods to materials-related problems and datasets.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Materials Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Ability to document work effectively.
- Prior exposure to industrial or scientific applications of AI, especially in materials or manufacturing domains, is an advantage.
