About the Role

Join Citi’s Markets Operations team to gain hands-on experience supporting global financial markets. This role offers integral participation in the trade lifecycle, ensuring smooth transaction processing from execution to settlement. You will collaborate with Front Office, Technology, internal and external clients, and Global Operations, contributing to efficient trade execution, strong controls, and excellent client experience. This position provides broad exposure to Citi's markets business and a clear path for long-term career development.

Key Responsibilities

• Impact Global Markets: Support key stages of the trade lifecycle, ensuring accurate and efficient transaction processing for clients.
• Solve Real Operational Challenges: Investigate issues, analyze discrepancies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver timely solutions.
• Strengthen Controls & Improve How We Work: Perform essential checks to safeguard the business and contribute to process improvements, automation initiatives, and the adoption of new technologies.
• Build Strong Client Partnerships: Directly engage with internal teams and external clients to resolve queries, support trade processing, and ensure a smooth front-to-back experience.
• Build Market & Product Knowledge: Develop a strong understanding of financial products, operational workflows, and systems used for global trading.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/University degree. Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business preferred; other disciplines considered with relevant skills/interest.
