IT Equipment Coordinator

About the Role

Amazon is hiring an IT Equipment Coordinator for its Fulfillment Center (FC) operations. This role supports the operations team by managing IT inventory, coordinating equipment ordering, delivery, and audits, and maintaining IT areas. The IT Equipment Coordinator is part of the FC's IT team and reports to the IT Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Allocate and maintain IT equipment throughout the Fulfillment Center.
• Manage the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and repair process for all devices under warranty.
• Support Junior and Senior Technicians in daily projects and activities.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.
• Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• IT system hardware and network concepts.
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Experience managing inventory in a warehousing, retail, or distribution setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience maintaining zebra thermal printers.
• Experience troubleshooting thin clients, PCs, scanners, and portable handheld terminals.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication abilities.
• Experience working with customers with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
• Experience in managing multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
• Experience prioritizing competing demands, scoping large efforts, and negotiating timelines.
• Experience with written and verbal communication and presentation.
• Highly self-motivated and customer-centric.
