About the Role
This is a full-time, on-site Quantity Surveyor (Fresher/Entry Level) role located in Hyderabad.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
- Assist in taking measurements.
- Support cost estimation for residential and commercial projects.
- Assist with cost planning.
- Monitor budget variations.
- Support cost control during different stages of design and construction.
- Assist in cost reporting.
- Prepare basic documentation.
- Coordinate with project teams.
- Maintain accurate records of quantities, costs, and materials.
- Work closely with senior engineers and architects to ensure projects are delivered within budget and in line with company standards.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Skills in BOQ preparation and quantity take-offs to support accurate project estimations.
- Skills in Cost Planning and Cost Management to assist in budget development and monitoring.
- Skills in Cost Control and Cost Reporting to track expenditures and provide basic cost summaries.
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
- Willingness to learn quantity surveying and project management software.
Qualifications
- Relevant academic qualification such as a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- Foundational understanding of construction materials, methods, and basic architectural/engineering drawings.
- Strong numerical aptitude.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain accurate records.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams on-site.
