Job Description

Codeatrix is looking for motivated Back-End Development Interns to contribute to industry-oriented software development projects. Interns will work on server-side applications, APIs, database management, and back-end functionality to help build secure, efficient, and scalable digital solutions. This opportunity is suitable for candidates who want to strengthen their programming skills and gain practical experience working on real-world projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain server-side applications using suitable programming languages and frameworks.
• Build, test, and integrate RESTful APIs to support web applications and digital products.
• Design, manage, and optimize databases using SQL or NoSQL technologies.
• Implement authentication, authorization, data validation, and basic security practices.
• Debug issues, optimize application performance, and maintain code quality.
• Collaborate with front-end developers and team members to integrate APIs and deliver functional applications.

Qualifications

• College students from any year, freshers, recent graduates, and experienced candidates.
• Candidates from Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related fields are preferred.
• Candidates from other academic backgrounds with relevant programming skills and an interest in back-end development are also welcome.
• Applicants should demonstrate logical thinking, problem-solving ability, and a willingness to learn.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Basic knowledge of at least one programming language, such as JavaScript, Python, Java, or PHP.
• Familiarity with back-end frameworks such as Node.js with Express, Django, Flask, or Spring Boot.
• Understanding of databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Basic knowledge of REST APIs, HTTP methods, and JSON.
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub, API testing tools such as Postman, and debugging techniques is beneficial.
• Prior academic or personal projects are welcome but not mandatory.
