Pharmacist

About the Role

Dr. Alka's Skin Care & Health Care is a patient-focused clinic that provides comprehensive skin care and general health services. This is a full-time, on-site Pharmacist role based in Bengaluru North.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately.
• Verify prescriptions and check for potential drug interactions and contraindications.
• Counsel patients on proper medication use, dosage, side effects, and storage.
• Maintain clear, accurate records and documentation.
• Manage inventory, monitor stock levels, and ensure proper storage conditions.
• Support periodic audits for compliance.
• Collaborate with physicians and other clinic staff to support treatment plans.
• Uphold regulatory and safety standards.
• Contribute to a clean, organized, and patient-friendly pharmacy environment.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Basic computer literacy for managing electronic records, prescriptions, and inventory systems.

Qualifications

• Professional pharmacy qualification (e.g., B.Pharm or D.Pharm) from an accredited institution.
• Valid registration/license with the appropriate pharmacy council.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, dosage calculations, and current pharmacy regulations and guidelines.
• Ability to dispense medications accurately, maintain detailed records, manage inventory, and follow standard operating procedures.
• Excellent communication and patient counseling skills, with the ability to explain medication use clearly and respectfully to diverse patients.
• Attention to detail, strong ethical standards, and commitment to patient safety and confidentiality.
• Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru North.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with medical and administrative staff.
• Ability to manage time in a busy clinical setting.
• Prior experience in a clinic, hospital, or community pharmacy setting is preferred.
• Experience in dermatology or skin care practice is an added advantage.
