About the Role
UM IT Solutions is offering a Python Development Intern position as part of a structured Career Launch Internship Program. This role provides practical project experience, mentorship, and industry exposure focused on Python development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Python-based applications and scripts.
- Assist in building backend functionality and application features.
- Write clean, efficient, and reusable Python code.
- Assist in connecting applications with databases.
- Develop scripts to automate repetitive tasks and processes.
- Assist in improving application performance and functionality.
- Document code, processes, and project requirements.
- Collaborate with developers and team members on Python development projects.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Python.
- Understanding of programming fundamentals and object-oriented concepts.
- Basic knowledge of APIs and databases is preferred.
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub is preferred.
- Knowledge of Python libraries such as Pandas or Flask is an advantage.
- Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Development, or a related field.
- Strong interest in Python programming and software development.
- Willingness to learn and work on practical development projects.
