SOW Specialist

About the Role

The Services Procurement (SOW Management) Specialist assists client SOW business owners with sourcing, contracting, managing, and remittance processing of services contracts. This role partners with client SOW business owners to lead Request for Proposals (RFPs) and negotiation events, and provides project oversight for supplier invoice administration and settlement. The Specialist will work with Randstad Enterprise (RE) client-facing teams to service clients effectively and cost-efficiently. The role may focus on a single SOW management program or support multiple clients and locations, handling a variety of services spend categories.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop partnering relationships with client SOW business owners to understand historical and projected buying needs.
• Act as a sourcing agent, mediator, negotiator, and SOW author on behalf of client SOW business owners and project buyers, supporting competitive bidding processes and aligning with client category and supplier strategies.
• Process procurement requisition activity using a Vendor Management System (VMS) and other client-specific procurement technologies.
• Develop competency knowledge of the program's SOW services supplier community to aid in sourcing recommendations.
• Perform analysis, including cost savings reporting and other data, to improve operational processes.
• Evaluate SOW agreement terms for quality, conformity, and compliance against client contractual language, escalating deviations for client approval.
• Provide Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) training and updates to suppliers and client SOW business owners.
• Communicate program procedural changes and updates to program suppliers and client users.
• Confirm suppliers appropriately manage employee on-boarding, employee relations, and off-boarding activities.
• Provide and analyze standard program reporting to client SOW business owners, procurement professionals, and stakeholders, including ad hoc requests.
• Establish and maintain proactive, positive working relationships with SOW business owners through regular contact, including occasional site visits.
• Support RE's MSP program operational leadership in meeting financial goals and ensuring compliance with Randstad policies and procedures.
• Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

• Knowledge of and ability to effectively utilize accounts payable, purchase order, and Vendor Management Systems and tools.
• Affinity with different HR/staffing/talent models.
• University/Postgraduate degree or equivalent professional & intellectual ability.
• Demonstrable procurement/commercial experience with a career track record measured by customer satisfaction, increased responsibilities, and working relationships.
