Interior Design Intern

About the Role

BuildArt Interiors | Constructions is a trusted architectural and interior design firm known for creating visually appealing and highly functional spaces. The firm specializes in architectural planning, 3D and interior visualization, space optimization, and end-to-end project handling. This full-time, on-site role is based in Trivandrum, Kerala.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the design team in developing residential and commercial interior concepts, layouts, and mood boards.
• Assist with space planning, furniture and material selection, and FF&E documentation.
• Help prepare drawings, presentations, and 3D visualizations.
• Coordinate with vendors and project teams.
• Organize project files.
• Support site visits and measurements.
• Contribute creative ideas.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Skills in Interior Design and Space Planning.
• Skills related to Furniture and FF&E (fixtures, fittings, and equipment) selection, specification, and documentation.
• Strong Communication skills.
• Basic proficiency in design and drafting tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and presentation software.
• Attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn.
• Ability to work on-site in Trivandrum on a full-time schedule.
• Interest in sustainable design, modern residential interiors, and local materials and practices is an advantage.
