Social Media Marketing Intern

About the Role

Mistiful is the consumer brand of Phantomleaf Pvt. Ltd., an online plant store focused on bringing nature into modern life. We are looking for a Social Media & Content Creation Intern to help build Mistiful’s presence across Instagram and YouTube Shorts. This is a hands-on, hybrid/remote internship involving idea generation, content creation, and performance analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Coming up with creative ideas for Reels and YouTube Shorts.
• Developing short scripts, hooks, and captions.
• Transforming plant footage and product images into engaging videos.
• Posting influencer-style videos.
• Editing and assembling videos using video editing tools.
• Identifying relevant sounds, trends, and formats that align with the Mistiful brand.
• Experimenting with voiceovers, humor, and different presentation styles.
• Testing various ideas and formats to determine audience resonance.
• Reviewing content performance and applying learnings to future posts.
• Contributing ideas to the overall direction of Mistiful’s social media strategy.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Capable of posting influencer-style videos.
• Experience with video editing tools.
• Comfortable recording videos or voiceovers of yourself.
• Willingness to experiment, learn, and collaborate.

Qualifications

• No previous professional experience required; creativity and out-of-the-box thinking are valued.
• Active presence on Instagram or YouTube Shorts.
• Strong understanding of effective short-form content strategies.
• Enjoyment of idea generation and writing.
• Some creative editing experience.
• A good eye for clean, simple visuals.
• Appreciation for dry or deadpan humor.

The internship is structured with an initial 3-month trainee period, followed by a potential 6-month paid internship based on performance, and a long-term pathway to a full-time Creative / Social Media Lead position.
