About the Role
- 12-week summer internship within the Technology organization at Capital Insurance Group.
- Opportunity to become a software developer and develop creative and engaging solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Write code in object-oriented programming language(s).
- Provide unit tests in development.
- Understand and modify simple SQL.
- Learn new technologies quickly through mentorship.
- Learn to use modern development tools such as git and Jira.
- Debug and troubleshoot application issues.
- Collaborate with other developers in the team.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Ability to code in at least 1 object-oriented programming language (Java preferred).
- Basic SQL and database knowledge.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week for a 12-week session.
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or equivalent.
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Work Environment: Fully in-office position.
Office Locations: Reno, NV, and Phoenix, AZ.
Salary: $25/hour
