Junior Systems Analyst

About the Role

Trinzic is the future independent company to be created through the planned spin-off of KBR's Mission Technology Solutions business, expected in January 2027. Trinzic will launch as a global organization with more than 18,000 employees supporting customers around the world.

KBR is currently seeking an experienced Junior Systems Analyst (JSA) for the JTDI program in Lexington Park, MD.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for the Joint Delivery Management System (JDMS) java and .NET client server application.
• Provide customer focused support for the warfighter mission with a broad technical knowledge of the supported network infrastructure.
• Support a team responsible for the JDMS application data transfer of aviation and ship maintenance and logistics data.
• Support JDMS deployed systems for CONUS and OCONUS data transfer between ship and shore systems.
• Provide end-user customer phone support and response to JTDI service and incident requests.
• Be open to working outside of core business hours to support foreign national customers.
• Leverage support tools to monitor Foreign Military Sale (FMS) server environments.
• Learn and administer JTDI JDMS software and its application components.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Active / Current Secret Clearance Required.
• Understanding of the DoD warfighter customer base in support of Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) and Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA).
• Background in Windows Server administration, ACAS scanning, vulnerability remediation, server virtualization, firewalls, and networking.
• Experience in SOAP (simple object access protocol) web services.
• Experience in software testing and deployment procedures.
• Knowledge with Microsoft Server 2019 and 2022.
• Knowledge with Microsoft IIS web services.
• Knowledge with RedHat Linux Operating Systems.
• Ability to learn MS PowerShell and Linux shell scripting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree OR AA/AS & 4 years of experience OR high school diploma & 8 years of experience.
• Must possess one of the following certifications:
• Security + certification
• CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP)
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
• Must possess an Operating System (OS)/environment certification or training:
• Amazon Web Services (AWS) certification (e.g., Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect)
• CompTIA Linux+ certification
• AWS Technical Essentials training
• Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) Windows OS Security training
• CISA Linux OS Security training
• Must be able to support SIRP environment at Patuxent River Naval Air Station.
