Legal Intern

About the Role

G3 Cyberspace is looking for a motivated Legal Intern with strong legal acumen, an interest in data privacy and technology laws, and a willingness to learn and contribute to practical legal and compliance activities. The role offers exposure to corporate legal matters, data protection regulations, contract management, regulatory research, and the evolving intersection of law, cybersecurity, and technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and maintaining legal documents, contracts, NDAs, agreements, and other business-related documentation.
• Conduct legal research on data privacy and protection laws, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, GDPR, and other applicable regulations.
• Support data privacy compliance activities, including privacy policies, consent notices, data processing agreements, and regulatory documentation.
• Assist with contract reviews, identifying key legal obligations, risks, and compliance requirements.
• Research developments in technology laws, cybersecurity regulations, artificial intelligence governance, and emerging digital regulations.
• Support basic corporate legal activities, regulatory filings, legal correspondence, and document management.
• Assist in preparing legal summaries, compliance checklists, research notes, and presentations.
• Coordinate with internal teams on legal, governance, and compliance-related requirements.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing (Final year) or recently completed LL.B. / B.A. LL.B. / B.B.A. LL.B. or an equivalent law degree.
• Sound understanding of basic legal principles, contract law, and corporate legal matters.
• Basic awareness of data privacy laws, particularly the DPDP Act and GDPR.
• Strong legal research, analytical, and drafting skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail, confidentiality, and a professional approach to handling legal information.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
