Aerospace structural assembly

About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site Aerospace Structural Assembly role based at TLMAL’s facility in Hyderabad.

Key Responsibilities

• Assembling aircraft structural components according to engineering drawings, process sheets, and standard operating procedures.
• Ensuring dimensional accuracy and structural integrity of assembled components.
• Working with mechanical assemblies.
• Using hand and power tools for drilling, fastening, fitting, and alignment tasks.
• Performing basic soldering where required.
• Following established workflows to meet production targets and safety standards.
• Coordinating with quality and engineering teams to identify and resolve issues.
• Performing in-process inspections.
• Maintaining detailed documentation of work performed.
• Adhering to all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Basic soldering capabilities.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and technical documentation.
• Understanding of safety standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical assembly skills, including experience with structural assembly in aerospace or similar precision manufacturing environments.
• Experience in quality control practices, including visual inspection, measurement tools, and adherence to technical specifications.
• Prior experience in aerospace manufacturing or high-precision industrial assembly is an advantage.
• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, or related engineering discipline, or equivalent technical qualification.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a structured, process-driven environment.
