About the Role

As an Operations & Growth Associate, you will work directly with the founder to manage and grow the VC ecosystem. Responsibilities include community growth, outreach, admissions, events, partnerships, marketing coordination, and day-to-day operations, as well as assisting the founder in planning and executing initiatives. This role seeks individuals interested in technology and startups who learn quickly and take initiative.

Key Responsibilities

• Growth & Outreach
• Execute initiatives to increase VC's visibility and reach.
• Connect with colleges, student communities, graduates, aspiring founders, and professionals.
• Explore new channels and opportunities to grow VC's presence in Nagpur.
• Coordinate promotional activities, social media execution, and outreach campaigns.
• Track outreach efforts and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Admissions & Community Building
• Respond to inquiries and follow up with interested individuals.
• Clearly communicate VC's vision, builder paths, and opportunities.
• Maintain inquiry records and track the admission pipeline.
• Build relationships with prospective members and local communities.
• Facilitate the integration of new members into the VC ecosystem and encourage participation.
• Events & Partnerships
• Attend relevant events, meetups, and networking opportunities.
• Represent VC and communicate its vision to potential members and partners.
• Identify collaboration opportunities with colleges, communities, and organizations.
• Coordinate VC events, activities, and related logistics.
• Build relationships for the long-term growth of the ecosystem.
• Operations Management
• Coordinate daily activities and maintain task trackers.
• Manage schedules, follow-ups, and operational records.
• Ensure planned activities are completed within timelines.
• Organize information, document processes, and improve operational efficiency.
• Provide progress updates to the founder.
• Founder's Office & Execution Support
• Collaborate with the founder on plans, priorities, and initiatives.
• Research opportunities to support decision-making.
• Break down ideas into actionable tasks and coordinate execution.
• Track progress, identify blockers, and ensure follow-through.
• Contribute practical ideas for improving VC's operations, outreach, and growth.

No technical background or prior experience in outreach or operations is required. A genuine interest in technology and startups, a willingness to execute, and the ability to take responsibility are essential. This is an execution-focused role.

Growth Path

Begin by understanding VC's vision, processes, and ecosystem. Gradually take charge of recurring activities and larger initiatives as consistency and ownership are demonstrated. The long-term opportunity is to grow into an Operations & Growth Lead role. Growth is dependent on performance, reliability, initiative, and the ability to work independently.

Compensation

₹10,000–₹15,000 per month, depending on suitability and skills, with opportunities for growth.
