Cloud Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure and services.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and security.
• Implement and manage security policies, identity, and access management.
• Perform regular system maintenance, including patching and updates.
• Automate repetitive tasks using scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance.
• Create and maintain documentation related to infrastructure and processes.
• Stay updated with AWS best practices and new services.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• AWS Certified System Administrator or higher AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
• Proven experience managing AWS environments.
• Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Lambda, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and compliance in AWS.
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Strong scripting skills in languages such as Bash or PowerShell.
• Experience with cost optimization in AWS.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps or GitLab CI).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and logging frameworks.
