About the Role

CHEARS | Innovating with technology is dedicated to educating the public on health issues and the role of artificial intelligence in the healthcare sector. The organization focuses on addressing challenges in India’s healthcare system. Team members contribute to initiatives that combine technology, education, and health advocacy. This is a remote internship role in Data Analytics at CHEARS | Innovating with technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in collecting, cleaning, and organizing health-related and program data from various sources.
• Perform exploratory data analysis.
• Generate basic reports and dashboards.
• Help interpret trends to support educational and awareness initiatives.
• Collaborate with mentors to design simple analytical models.
• Document findings.
• Present insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Support data-driven decision-making across CHEARS projects.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Familiarity with data tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, or introductory experience with SQL, Python, or R is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Strong Analytical Skills and foundational Analytics abilities for problem-solving and insight generation.
• Skills in Data Analytics and Business Analytics to interpret datasets and support organizational decision-making.
• Knowledge of Statistics to perform basic quantitative analysis and validate findings.
• Ability to communicate analytical results clearly in written and verbal form to diverse audiences.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Curiosity about healthcare and AI.
• Willingness to learn in a remote, collaborative environment.
• Current enrollment in or recent completion of a program in data science, statistics, computer science, public health, or a related field is preferred.
