Junior Engineer

About the Role

Full-time, on-site role based in Banda.

This role supports project planning, site execution, and quality assurance activities under the guidance of senior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting in interpreting drawings and specifications.
• Monitoring daily construction work.
• Coordinating with site supervisors and subcontractors.
• Ensuring adherence to safety and compliance standards.
• Maintaining progress records.
• Preparing basic technical reports.
• Supporting material inspections and measurements.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve field issues.
• Contributing to continuous improvement in construction processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or diploma degree in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical) from an accredited institution.
• Strong foundation in civil, mechanical, or electrical engineering principles relevant to construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and construction documents.
• Basic knowledge of project planning tools, site management practices, and construction safety standards.
• Proficiency in using MS Office.
• Exposure to engineering or design software (e.g., AutoCAD, BIM tools) is an advantage.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to coordinate with site teams and stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced project environment.
• Prior internship or site experience in construction or infrastructure projects is preferred but not mandatory.
