About the Role
This is a full-time Civil Engineer role based in Ahmedabad with a hybrid work arrangement.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning, design, and review of public infrastructure projects, including roads, drainage, public buildings, and utility networks.
- Prepare and check engineering drawings.
- Perform technical calculations.
- Support stormwater management and urban infrastructure planning.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
- Coordinate with internal teams, government agencies, and external consultants.
- Prepare technical reports and project documentation.
- Contribute to sustainable, cost-effective engineering solutions aligned with GRIT’s development objectives.

- AutoCAD
- STAAD
- Civil design or hydraulic modeling tools
- MS Office
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design.
- Experience working as Civil Engineers on planning, design, and implementation of civil works in urban or regional development contexts.
- Knowledge of Planning and Stormwater Management practices, including drainage design, flood mitigation, and sustainable urban infrastructure.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Familiarity with relevant Indian standards, codes, and regulations for civil and public works projects.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills, with attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, interact with public sector stakeholders, and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Prior experience in government, public sector, or large infrastructure projects in Gujarat or similar contexts is an advantage.
