Developer

About the Role

This is a full-time remote Developer role at XPool, a smart ride-sharing platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain core features of the XPool ride-sharing application, including backend services, APIs, and user-facing components.
• Write clean, efficient, and testable code.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Optimize performance and scalability.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and operations teams to refine requirements, implement new features, and improve the overall user experience.
• Maintain documentation.
• Participate in code reviews.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and tools.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong skills in modern programming languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Java.
• Familiarity with common frameworks like Node.js or React.
• Experience with backend development, RESTful APIs, and database technologies (SQL and/or NoSQL).
• Knowledge of mobile or web application development practices, including responsive design, performance optimization, and cross-platform compatibility.
• Understanding of cloud services (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with version control tools such as Git.
• Ability to write maintainable, well-tested code.
• Proficiency with debugging, profiling, and monitoring tools.
