About the Role

The Associate Technical Consultant is an entry-level role within COSOL's Americas Professional Services team. This position combines client-facing data migration delivery with the build and maintenance of COSOL's software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support enterprise data migration engagements — extracting, transforming, reconciling, and quality-checking client asset data using SQL and COSOL's migration tooling.
  • Build and maintain COSOL's internal AI-assisted delivery tooling.
  • Build and maintain COSOL's Maximo accelerator products, which extend client Maximo environments with web-based interfaces for kiosks, portals, and field data capture.
  • Perform technical work inside Maximo — automation scripts, integrations, reporting, and configuration — beginning in sandbox environments and progressing to supervised client work.
  • Document delivered work to a standard that permits maintenance and extension by others.
  • Grow toward independent delivery and technical ownership over the first two years.

Requirements & Tech Stack

  • SQL (ideally SQL Server) including the ability to construct and optimize joins, diagnose queries returning incorrect results, and identify anomalous data.
  • Demonstrable ability to write and debug code in a modern programming language.
  • Competence with AI-assisted development tools, including the judgment to verify generated output.
  • Clear written communication and documentation discipline.
  • Existing Maximo experience is not required; product training is provided.
  • Web application development, APIs and integration work, ETL or data migration exposure, or cloud platform experience are advantageous but not required.
  • No Maximo, Ellipse, or other EAM product experience is required.
  • No prior consulting experience is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or an equivalent practical background.
  • Evidence of independently learning an unfamiliar technology and delivering working output with it.
  • To be eligible for this position you must be legally authorized to work in the United States. COSOL Americas does not provide visa sponsorship for this position.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Annual base salary range: $70,000 - $80,000 USD.
  • Eligible for bonus and incentive compensation.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer match.
  • Unlimited paid time off.
  • Paid sick leave in accordance with the Colorado Healthy Families and Workplaces Act.
