Human Resources Intern

About the Role

The Human Resources Intern will support the HR team with day-to-day activities. This is an internship role, based on-site in Gurgaon.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with recruitment processes, including screening applications and scheduling interviews.
• Maintain candidate records.
• Update and organize HR documentation.
• Support onboarding activities.
• Assist with employee engagement initiatives aligned with the organization’s mission and values.
• Support HR data entry, maintaining personnel files, and helping track attendance, leaves, and basic employee benefits information.
• Coordinate with different teams.
• Provide administrative support for HR projects.
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge of Human Resources (HR) and HR Management, with an interest in developing a career in people operations.
• Understanding of HR Policies and Employee Benefits, and the ability to assist in maintaining accurate HR documentation.
• Basic experience or coursework in Personnel Management, including exposure to recruitment, onboarding, or employee records management.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
• Proficiency in MS Office or similar productivity tools, and comfort working with spreadsheets and HR-related data.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
• Ability to work on-site in Gurgaon.
• Interest in sustainability, climate action, or social impact initiatives is highly beneficial.
