About the Role

eWards is looking for a motivated Finance Intern to join their team. The role will support financial processes, ensure compliance, and assist in strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Management:
• Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and funding requirements.
• Accounting & Compliance:
• Maintain accurate financial records in Tally and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Manage GST calculations, filing, and other tax-related matters.
• Handle end-to-end filing processes, including income tax, GST, and other financial filings.
• Operational Finance:
• Support various departments in budget preparation, cost control, and financial performance analysis.
• Assist in setting up and maintaining effective internal controls across finance functions.
• Strategic Support:
• Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Evaluate financial risks and opportunities.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in Tally.
• Working knowledge of GST, filing, and operational finance.
• Completed finals in accounting.
• Exposure to working with auditors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial best practices.
• Experience in working with auditors and handling audits independently.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
