Maxim Healthcare is seeking a full-time, on-site Healthcare Recruiter – Entry Level in the Greater Chicago Area. This role focuses on sourcing, screening, and interviewing healthcare professionals for various clinical and non-clinical positions.

• Conducting initial phone screens
• Coordinating interviews
• Supporting the onboarding process
• Maintaining candidate databases
• Building relationships with local talent pools and educational institutions
• Collaborating with hiring managers to understand staffing needs
• Ensuring a positive candidate experience
• Adhering to company policies and applicable employment regulations

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Ability to perform high-volume candidate sourcing and screening using online job boards, social media, and networking channels.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Basic understanding of recruiting practices, interview techniques, and employment compliance or willingness to learn.
• Customer service mindset with a focus on creating a respectful, inclusive, and positive candidate experience.
• Comfort working in an on-site office environment and collaborating with team members in person.
• Proficiency with common office software and applicant tracking systems (ATS) or similar tools.
• Interest in healthcare and desire to support staffing for clinical and community-based care services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
