About the Role
Pronto is an early-stage startup disrupting the unorganized sector of domestic help by building a trusted and tech-enabled platform for maid services. Backed by marquee investors and driven by a vision to bring dignity, structure, and consistency to the sector, we are building a one-stop solution for urban households to find reliable, trained, and verified domestic help. We are looking for an enthusiastic IT Intern to support our IT team with day-to-day technical operations, network troubleshooting, hardware maintenance, and basic IT support. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of IT networking and hardware troubleshooting, along with a willingness to learn and solve technical issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with basic IT networking, including LAN, Wi-Fi, routers, and switches.
- Troubleshoot hardware-related issues with laptops, desktops, printers, and other IT peripherals.
- Provide first-level technical support to employees for hardware and software issues.
- Assist in installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems and operating systems.
- Diagnose and resolve basic connectivity, network, and system performance issues.
- Support IT asset management, including tracking laptops, accessories, and other equipment.
- Assist with software installation, system updates, and basic IT security practices.
- Maintain records of IT issues, troubleshooting activities, and resolutions.
- Escalate complex technical issues to the senior IT team when required.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- IT Networking: LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, IP addressing, DNS.
- Hardware Troubleshooting: Laptops, desktops, printers, and peripherals.
- Operating Systems: Windows.
- Skills: Problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Applications, Networking, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of IT networking concepts.
- Understanding of hardware troubleshooting.
- Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems and software installation.
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.
Experience: Freshers are welcome to apply. Candidates with up to 1 year of experience in IT support, networking, or hardware troubleshooting will be preferred.
