About the Role
Jean Claude Biguine Salons is looking for a skilled and passionate Hair Trainer to join our team in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in hairstyling, a passion for education, and the ability to develop and enhance the technical skills of our salon professionals in line with our brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct technical training sessions for hairstylists, including hair cutting, colouring, styling, blow-drying, and hair treatments.
- Develop and deliver structured training programs for new joiners and existing salon team members.
- Conduct practical demonstrations and hands-on training to enhance technical skills and service quality.
- Train employees on the latest hairstyling techniques, trends, products, and industry developments.
- Assess trainees' technical competencies and provide constructive feedback.
- Conduct skill assessments, practical evaluations, and refresher training sessions.
- Ensure adherence to JCB Salons' technical standards, service protocols, and customer experience expectations.
- Coordinate with salon managers and the training team to identify skill gaps and plan training interventions.
- Monitor training effectiveness and maintain training records and assessment reports.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proven experience as a Hair Trainer, Senior Hairstylist, Technical Educator, or in a similar role.
- Strong expertise in hair cutting, colouring, styling, and professional haircare services.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and coaching skills.
- Ability to conduct practical demonstrations and mentor hairstylists at different skill levels.
- Passion for continuous learning and keeping up with evolving hair trends and techniques.
- Prior experience in a premium salon environment will be an added advantage.
