About the Role
- Paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027.
- Work hours: 40 hours per week, onsite at Assumption, IL headquarters.
- Tentative dates: May 26th – July 30th (dependent on summer housing dates, could start earlier and/or end later).
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regulatory environmental audits.
- Support environmental compliance programs.
- Develop and implement various written environmental programs.
- Review and develop specific training programs.
- Support Industrial Hygiene Studies.
- Identify environmental risks and opportunities for improvement as well as cost savings.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Enrollment in a degree program in environmental, health and safety or related field, preferably in engineering.
- Must be registered as a full-time student.
- Must be able to commute to the work location on a daily basis.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable transportation to and from the internship location.
Qualifications
- Preferably have completed one or more internships and/or have working experience (e.g., part-time job).
Compensation
- Expected hourly wage: $20 - $22/hour (dependent upon year in school).
