About the Role
Stanley Consultants is seeking a Transmission Student Intern for their Des Moines, IA or Muscatine, IA office. This is an onsite, full-time internship opportunity.
What You Will Be Doing
- Support project teams, marketing, business development, and technical support.
- Development of transmission line design parameters, technical design, and project review.
- Development of transmission standards and specifications, preparation of studies and reports.
- Assist in the collection and analysis of data from reports, maps, drawings, and aerial photographs to plan and design projects.
- Assist in the preparation or modification of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, environmental impact studies, materials lists, permits, and designs for projects.
- Assist designers/technicians to reduce designs to working drawings using computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Civil, or Structural Engineering.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to work legally in the United States for any length of time.
- Experience with computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment.
